What's with all the suspensions?
Scott, I'm curious. What has "changed" as you see it? What content, threads or posts in the past you find acceptable and the moderators find "childish"? Without those types of posts, the site has not been reduced to rubbish. It's very much as active and informative as the day I joined, IMO. Respectfully, it's been my experience here that many of the suspensions were warranted and the posters knew what is and is not acceptable, but freely choose to rebel. I never understood why a responsible person would choose to break fair and just rules "for the hell of it". I see more of an increase mix of people since I logged on back in '07. I believe this is a good thing and I hope this is not the change you're referencing. - Og
Well thats not something I would share with the forum if I were you
Just a joke
We were allowed to get a bit wild without the management coming down on us. Threads with girls in Bikini's, demotivational posters and jokes all were fine until someone really crossed the line. We all knew what the lines was and knew what the result would be.
Now that line has shifted, much closer to the side of caution. Now people don't know what they can and can't get away with because so much was allowed to slide for so long.
I never said it has
My complaint was not regarding these 2 areas of the forum, this place has always and will always have a large number of members and great tech.
Well OG, people will see things differently. That seems to be the case here as I am not the only person to voice my concerns.
Guess your opinion of "fair and just" might differ from mine slightly
No OG, that has NOTHING to do with my post.
I like the great variety of members F150 has.

F150online.com GD forum is my home page. I visit here almost every day, even when I'm on vacation. My interest in pick up forums has little brand loyalty. I happen to like Fords but I'm logged into many various truck forums and believe me, F150online GD forum is by far the most lively, informed, mature and entertaining of all that I visit. This GD forum is my 'window' on the world, be it political, religious or just plain BS. Some of the GD forums on other truck sites are a real snore. I like it here and plan to stay awhile.
.
They have stated a family atmosphere with a PG-13 rating.
If you clowns would get your noses out of your beer bottles and mouths off your bongs, you might be able to figure out where you are detracting from this required atmosphere! Those of you who keep getting suspended know where you can go to let it all hang out. That place ain't HERE.

A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.

You are taking it too literal. Quit trying to see what you can get away with. Just stay away from the bong. No F bomb at all.

Don't worry too much, you still have god-like power to get rid of line crossers, as stated in the Terms of Use
