Hey, wasn't this in the Suspension forum? Who moved it?!
I moved it, you're supposed to thank me when I fix a mistake you made.

Why? Wouldn't the group benefit to hear any answers the moderators might give?

Believe it or not we don't have all day, aren't on here all the time, to get into each member's intricate questions about our moderating decision making processes, as one collective response surely wouldn't be good enough.

The suspensions remind me of Highschool, where kids act up in class so everyone could giggle while they where headed to the principals office.
Just that mentality level

Haha. Taking one for the team. Most people have a good time with it. Excellent ANALogy.

Are we allowed to ask a question along the lines of...

"What's with all of the moronic, disrespectful, vulgur, and intentionally idiotic behavior?"

If you can answer that one - and pass the red-face test - we'll give you guys a really straight answer to the OP.

I understand a lot of the suspensions, but some of them started by the deletion of threads or content that wasn't breaking rules. Or the arguing of double standards... I could really care less about the suspensions or bans. It just seems a lot of the recent bans/suspensions weren't necessary.

I probably missed the posts that clearly broke the TOS.. Partially because you guys do such a good job policing the boards.

This is not the same forum it was in 06 when I joined. You have many long time members who have never really had issues that have now been banned or warned. What is a more reasonable assumption - these members are now all acting out at the same time or the rules have changed? I dont know why the staff just will not come out and call it what it is. Things have changed, lets stop trying to pretend this is the same old f150onine.

The ownership may have changed and we've added a few new mods and admins but this is still the same great old website to me.

What does get old is all the complaining about nothing. My kids never complained so much.

I think the silence of everything is stupid. Threads rarely got deleted back then, they locked and dumped down the list, with a precise reason. Now threads will get deleted and we have no idea why.

OHH, got all the mods to post in this thread, well 3/4s of them. Mods are just doing their jobs guys. IB tightened down on the forum and the mods are just following along. granted, it sucks and i feel like a child on here, but apparently they like osama dont understand simple economics. the more people you have on the forum, the more visits this site gets, the more the sponsors like this and the more join up. more sponsors sign up, more money IB makes. and please dont give me that bull about this is a family site and IB has morals, thats bull, they are here to make money, they care nothing about our feelings or anyone else for that matter. ive said my peace.

The threads that I've seen deleted were ****. **** is OK but why post it here? There are plenty of places to see it. But I don't know of the other threads. I guess I have to much free time, and read here more often than some.
