The portion of the electorate that actually refer to themselves as 'liberal'

Not at all- I don't condone hard-headed **** kids, and parents who'd rather be their child's friend than actually being the parent.

Sociaety is so quick to try and medicate problems away. What happened to all these crazy kids when you and I were kids? I'll tell you- our parents whipped their ***** when we got out of line, and we learned to control ourselves.

We didn't need Ritalin back then, there was this thign called a "belt" that was all the medicine we needed.

So, were yeasterday's parents stupid, or are today's parents just punks by comparison?

Besides- there's a difference between "butt whipping/spanking" and "beating the crap" out of someone. But, I guess reading between the lines isn't a strong suit for some. To me, butt whipping is a controlled event, focused on a specific region of the body- where as a "beating" involves an intent to injure, hard object (bat btick, billy club), or a closed fist, and whereever the blow happens to land, so be it.

There is a difference. I don't condone beating a child. But I'm 100% for spanking...
