That's where the real "CHANGE" is going to happen!

Yeah, you prefer to make excuses for Republicans.

As it has failed you so.
Were you “educated” by the Chicago Annenberg Challenge by chance?

OK, I'll be glad to. We'll continue where our wonderful "in need of reform, education system", left off with you...

It's called research. Now a days it's called "G-o-o-g-l-e"

Chicago Daily Oberver:
http://www.cdobs.com/archive/our-col...ck-obama,1324/
In 2000 Davis asked the nonprofit Woods Fund of Chicago for a $1 million investment in a new development partnership, Neighborhood Rejuvenation Partners. Obama, a member of the board, voted in favor, helping Davis secure the investment. The following year, Davis assembled another partnership to create New Evergreen/Sedgwick, a $10.7 million renovation of five walk-up buildings in a gentrifying neighborhood. The project, a model of small-scale, mixed-income development, was subsidized by almost $6 million in state loans and federal tax credits."

I know this will go right over your head (It's from the Wall Street Journal), yet I'm going to post this for the others that do understand that this issue goes well beyond a $200 "donation" <wink, wink>

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1222...s_opinion_main

Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.
The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.
Ohhh... I'm NOT for Obama...

No, I'm not saying he shouldn't be held accountable. I'm just saying there was no shortage of people who hated the US Government during the height of the Vietnam War, and in the days when political and civil rights leaders were gunned down *****-nilly by those with differing ideals and opinions.

I'm saying if Ayers really bombed the Pentagon, I think he'd be in jail to this day. Actually, I don't believe in letting people slide if they do wrong. I don't believe in depression, ADD, ADHD, Bi-Polar mania, Anxiety attacks, PTSD, or none of that mess. I think they're al excuses, and can all be solved with a good butt whipping rather than a diagnosis.

I say investigate, and if unjustified* wrong doing if found, have a cell waiting for them. But, I just find it hard to believe the USA let a known terrorist slide.

* I know some wil ask, what's a "justified" wrong doing. Well, justified wrongdoing, in my opinion, is what my friend had to do one night. He'd gone home after work, decided to have a few drinks, and his wife- then 7 months pregnant, went into labor. He called 911, but they took forever to get there. Wife in pain, he put her in the car and drove to the hospital. MP's stopped him, and smelled alcohol- and after getting his wife to the hospital, he was given a DUI.

No one hates DUI/DWI offenders as much as I do- but, in his case- I could see why he did, what he did. The Colonel did too, and he didn't lose is rank, although he did lose his right to drive a POV on post for 60 days.

I'm Definitely voting for Obama.

McSame and Palin are just looking Silly...

and I'm sorry, but I'm not buying Obama's a Militant Muslim sent by the Taliban to destroy America story either...

McCain's just as Liberal as Obama when it comes to Guns, etc. so that arguement is moot.

Socialism? Give me a break. Bush has just Nationalized Banking!

Spending? The "conservatives" have put us in MULTI Trillion Dollar Deficits and spent (wasted) more than ANY other President.

It's the Economy Stupid!

Well at least you believe in stupidity.... that has to be the most single ignorant statement I have read on this board since I joined in 2001.

I guess you condone parents beating the crap out of their 4-5 year olds because the kid has a behavoiral issue over which the child has no control.... I imagine you also blame babies for being being born to drug addict mothers... you're right... nothing that a butt whipping won't fix...

I know now the origin of the phrase "You can't teach stupid". Thanks.

I guess that I should not be surprised that these threads continue... The same people and the same arguments, over and over. Its also the same crap on TV. McCain and Obama. I am so ready for the election to be over. Both parties want to screw us, and neither will kiss us first. Every year, I pay more taxes... Sick of it! I have given up participating in these discussions. They usually end up with me being suspended because someone got their widdle feelings hurt. Who knew Liberals hated being called retarded?

If liberals make up about 19% of the likely voters,
and Obama is consistently polling at 49%...

..who is the other 30% ?

Everyone planning to vote for Obama can't be a liberal, it doesn't add up.

For some people, anyone left of Strom is a liberal, increasing the percentage of available liberals.

Where did you get your numbers? I know a lot of Liberals like to call themselves Independents, but 19% that's a joke.
