The real reason? He wants time to focus on the economy troubles. Go back to Washington D.C. and hammer out the details of this economic mess.

In a way it's kind of funny. McCain is in a way telling Obama what to do. Is McCain banking Obama will look like a fool if he doesn't come back to DC?

Seriously, thinking about it, they both need to go back and help come up with some logical solution to this mess. People are pissed and rightly so. Seeing the candidates work in concert may renew some needed moral. - Og
