Can you help me understand what "of course you do" is supposed to mean?
How often do you hear me cheerleading for McCain?
What about what I said after the ... in the words that you quoted me on? You don't think that you've taken my words out of context? McCain and Obama are senators, right? They were elected by their constituents to represent them in the senate, correct? Their job is to do the work of the people in the senate, isn't it? I think that the right thing to do, is for senators to do their job.
Perhaps saying "of course you do" means that you know that I believe that doing ones job is more important than political posturing. I think that there is a good chance that McCain will have lost a chance to win the election because he felt it necessary to do his job. I think that says a lot about his character.
Maybe your respect lies with a smooth talker. I know hard work and my respect lies with people who work hard to get their job done.
