But its legal to stand on the sidewalk in front of your home with a sign that says "Norm's truck harms mother earth." At least as long as I am peaceful.

Also, if you let one stay in your home for "X" amount of days...you cannot legally kick them out.

Correct, as long as that sidewalk is public property.

Actually you can. It varies from state to state though.

But IMO, there was nothing wrong with Copper's post. It was just funny and not directed at anyone. It didn't break the rules in any way. My post also got deleted for laughing at his post.

Does that apply to your children if they stay long once they're out of school?

Think of it like their Private house. You can come in, hang out, and BS with buddies. but they don't need any reason or ryhme to grab ya by the short hairs and toss ya. Simple as that.

It's not what you think. It was a sarcastic post and apparently one of the mods thought it would be appropriate to remove. I wrote something like.

"LMAO...oh F150online... What will happen next? "

and then LT posted three smilies

""

Which were also deleted.

Well sarcasm and innuendos run rampant on this site. So the mods have one hell of a job ahead of them.

Note to self: DO NOT LAUGH AT ANY SARCASTIC POSTS

As most of you know, this isn't a democracy. We do try to mimic it to a certain extent but, the moderators, admins, and other super-powers that be can remove items at their discretion.

While we strive to generally not abuse this power, there will always be occasions where one or more person(s) does not agree with something that has been done by someone that has the individual permissions to alter, edit, or remove a post. I'm not offering justification for any individual item that I've noted, but rather offering a general blanket type of statement that, very simply put, allows those with the proper permissions to do what they see fit.

If you disagree with something that goes on, we do have systems of checks and balances. You can always contact me or can contact above me - to IB - if you have a question, concern, or serious problem with the way that things are being handled or have been handled. It's not our intention to intentionally ruffle feathers, in most instances.

As always, I encourage open, honest, and free chat within the common rules of the site. As I mentioned, there will always be a difference of opinion on certain matters but, that's just one of those things that we're all going to have to put up with because it's the nature of this beast.

All of that said... does anyone have a cold beer for an administrator?
