The rap music I listened to in the 80's and early 90's is much different than what they play today. I'm more of an old school rap fan. Run DMC, The Fat Boys, LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys, Sir Mix A Lot, NWA, Ron C, the list oges on.....

Thats what I listen to. But it still gets lumped in with the music of today as Rap.
I like Trace Adkins.

Good man.

Today's rap preaches violence, rape, stealing etc. Not exactly what we want our youth to be listening to/praising. C"rap" as i like to call it.

But that is your opinion and as shallow as it sounds to me, you have a right to it.
I don't think Timothy McVeigh, Eric Harris or Dylan Klebold were influenced by rap music.

True. I also know a few video games that may fit the bill. I won't mention any names, but one of those games have the initials of GTA. (And that's not "Good Times in America") - Og

So are you saying GTA does or does not influence people to commit crimes?

My kids do play that game. I don't think it will influence them to steal a car.
There are some out there that it probably would.

It's all about home training. Ya know!
