lil old nissan

well i finally did it, I brought the old girl out of retirement I bought this lil 97 sentra in may of 2000 with 15500 miles on it for just over 10,000$ since then I drove it for 5 years, my wife drove it for 2 years, and for the last year my father in law had been driving it about 40 miles a week just as a runaround car. well my lil Nissan now has over 197000mi on it and I'm putting it back into full service, I still need my pickup and will be keeping it but over the last month I have put $400 in gas in the pig and maybe needed to put something in the bed for $100 of it, so I figured since this lil guy still gets 37+ mpg and the ins. is only $30 a month I'm still going to come out about $150 a month ahead its rough looking and has a front main oil leak but the ac is ice cold and the parts for it are so cheap untill gas goes down a bit this is going to be my a-b transportation so just thought I'de share

I thought you might like it thump the original was "removed" by a drunk driver with no ins about 2 1/2 years ago and neither me, my wife, or father in law deemed it necessary to spend $1500 on this car to fix it so it was a three dollar can of krylon I may try to get a cover for it but the whole rear is pushed in about 1.5 inches so it may or may not line up right

Its gets the job done! I was considering buying a little 3 cylinder festiva but when i went to go look at it, i couldent fit in it. I'm 6'3" 215pounds, if i was shorter i would have bought it in a heart beat. So im still driving my truck getting 16mpg highway

I almost S*** my pants when the OP said that he was actually waiting for gas to go down (no offense I just don't really think gas is ever going to go back the other way. I COULD be wrong and I sure as heck hope I am.) I guess you will be getting it to 999,999.9

Has ANYONE ever made it past 999,999? what happens? I'm sure most of you have seen the thread of my sis totalling her little '95 'Rolla? Has(d) 324,056 miles on it as of now with orig engine and orig 5-speed manual with a clutch as loose as a 95 year old grandma on ...well...nvm. A shame it won't make it more.

I have heard of one in the mid west somewhere a few years ago and the dealer traded him straight up for a brand new car so he could use the mil mile car as advertisement at the dealership dont know if its true or not just something I read a few years back
