your 18??? cut your losses and move on. get your carreer going, get some cash in the bank, buy yourself a house.dont commit to anyone. date as many woman as u can. get yourself set up first. a good woman will appreciate your hard work. whatever you do make sure you have a prenup. you dont want to be stuck living in your truck if things do go bad.

The owners manual for the space shuttle would be a shorter and easier read.

This is an interesting thread. If it were me, I'd use her and abuse her. She's already stated her true feelings toward you, so why not play the game with her. Sounds like she just bought you a ticket for the Pain Train.

Or......you could stick it out and let her walk all over you, throw you under the bus a few times, tell all her friends what a moron you are, share all your intimate secrets, and then run around on you behind your back with your buddy who's truck looks better than yours.

I learned from the best. Best experience is first hand experience.

To the OP, She's 18, tear a piece off, play her games back at her and fish for a better piece. How serious is anyone at 18, let alone a girl. Trust me man, go have fun and there will be a day where a serious relationship goes without saying, but party, screw lots and be ****y (no pun intended, well maybe OK I did mean to). God damn, if I could be single again, I'd be mowing grass all over the place.

PS, I think she's looking for an excuse to move on to her new guy, maybe ?

He's right you know. Don't be in a big hurry OP for a relationship, not unless you love yelling over the stupidest things, constant headaches and double standards.

This has Been a pretty entertaining i just spent my entire lunch break reading it.

i dont think their age is that big of a deal, given the fact that im 20. ive had the same girlfriend for more than three years and she is my best friend. I tell her everything and i honestly cant imagine not having her around. And we are already talking about getting married as soon as shes done with collage. i dont see anything wrong with it. things may change but i can honestly say that i love her.

Did you say "torn"????

I was in your same shoes when i was 20. I was with a girl for 2 years, was in love with her. Couldnt imagine her not being around. Well Im almost 28 now. Have no clue what she is up to and really dont care. Now I realize it would of been really stupid to get married that young. Im not the same person i was at 20. I still had alot of growing up to do then. I cant imagine being married now. I am having way too much fun being single. You get to date around and see what type of woman you really want. Also i have gotten my career in line and life in order. I have gotten to buy a house by myself, buy my truck and a motorcycle. I can go do what i want when i want. I was able to follow my dreams and get my dream job. I dont think i would of been able to do that if i would of gotten married at 20. Im also pretty sure i would be divorced now. My advice is why rush. If it is meant to be you all will say together and can get married later. If it doesnt work out you will still have all your stuff. Just my 2 cents

its going to be at least three years if not more before i do get married if im still with her. but at this point it seems like it will be her. And tomorrow im going to go look at a house to buy, nothing that i plan on living in for more than a few years. something to spend money on. right now in Michigan there are so many people loosing houses to foreclosure that banks are selling them cheap. i really cant go wrong buying a house i dont think.

if your income is secure it is time to buy real estate is a good investment right now but you gotta look a little further than 1-2 years mor like 5-7 for this down cycle to get back into full stride
