Let's start over......
Impressive vehicles!
about a month ago had cataract surgery on right eye and was supposed to get second eye done the next week. The following morning I passed out on bathroom floor for 5 to 10 minutes. Got a little better but any exertion caused loss of breath. Ended up at the emergency room in Burleson then EMS to downtown Ft Worth hospital. Ran all kinds of heart tests, ended up being blood clots that were lodged in the lungs. They did a procedure using a catheter going into the artery in my groin, thru my heart into my lungs and vacuumed the clots out. Fun experience. Four days in the hospital but now all is good. Guess I’m lucky to be 80 and first hospital visit. The doctors kind of sucked but the nurses were just great. The whole experience was more complicated because my long time primary care physician was retiring and I was trying to locate a new one. Not all the easy at my age but think it’s all worked out well now.
The good part is there does not seem to be any permanent heart damage from the stress of pushing oxygen thru stopped up lungs. The surgeon showed me the mess he vacced out. Kind of scary. Now on a blood thinner for two more months but all is good.

that sounds awful, but I’m glad you’re recovering
has it been that long already?
Looks like you need to send a PM to admin or a moderator to unlock the veterans badges. I just sent one to Patman.
