Off to go to school...10 hours of continuing ed today

Boss cooked breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast.

 

Severe thunderstorms with rain hit at 3:30 this morning...shook the house they were so close. Rain let up at about 8 o'clock so the wife left to go to work. North of New Orleans wasn't so lucky because they got up to 10 inches of rain and some serious flooding. Hope this system clears out before Sunday! Its still raining but not hard so we can handle that.

 

Just hauled off 2 hot water boilers and a very heavy 40is year old fridge with my friend. Fun times.

 

Nice steady rain all day today, Its been pretty nice. So far have a little over 2 inches.

 

No rain to speak of here in Houston today -- that time of year where it starts getting kind of muggy though.....

 

Out of class and on my way home....3:30 hours back home

This morning they had a full assortment of pastries Jim would've luv'd and for linch there was burgers and brats with cole slaw, baked beans, chips, and a cookie

 

Long day today

 

I could have handled the lunch very well too. Made it home without going thru any heavy rain, it was coming along right behind me.
