Anyone ride one of these hover boards? I just did and its not a good idea to try when recovering from a dislocated shoulder. I think I just lost my 2 week progress

Damn it!

I never will own one because of all of the reports of them bursting into flames and people getting hurt on them. Airlines have even banned them because of the fire hazard.

Damn it!
I have a hard enough time staying on my own feet, much less one of those things.

I might get one but I need a model with a cane and air bags. Saw a 19-20 year old girl crossing the street late into the walk signal. it seemed slow and she held up the last lane.

Yep -- anyone who is a true "car guy" has a winter beater back there. I had a couple ('77 Chevy Monza and a '78 Dodge Aspen) when I still lived there and was starting to make enough money that I could afford two vehicles. All they had to be was mechanically reliable and something you didn't care if it rusted out in a few years time!

I still kind of miss the annual routine of putting away your "good car" in early November and then the fun of getting it back out on the road in early April!

Fireworks are allowed up here also....but due to the cold temps and winds very few were shot off on New Year's Eve which is kind of a good thing compared to what happens on the 4th of July....fairly quiet with the occasional pop/bang
