Changed the oil on the wife's Escape today and I sure didn't like the way the drain plug felt coming out and especially going back in.....

It has gotten progressively "grabby" over the years going through areas of the threading where it will grab hard and then let go and turn normally. Today, however, threading it back in it turned pretty hard all the way in, which makes me nervous about the next time I change the oil whether I'm going to have problems with it.....

That's. A slight improvement! Wish the Cowboys could do that.

One of our local HS bands, (some of the boy's in my troop) the band went to Grand National marching competition in Indiana and placed 3rd in the Nation.

I didn't get much done on my headlights yesterday. I really hope today is the day I finish them up

Sarah's old S10 Blazer had a stripped oil pan when we got it. Drove it for over 4 years. I put a "oversized" drain plug in it that cuts new threads. And then it started to strip too. So then I'd just finger tighten it and cover it with a ball of RTV

I would get a new drain plug . Possibly get a tap and clean the threads. My 6.2 did same thing and new plug fixed it. Experience has taught me to not force
things that shouldn't be forced

Heavy rain last night. I slept well. Now I just need to find the motivation to go into work and be a productive member of society
