That is cold ! About 39 here and raining. We have broken the record for total annual rainfall in one year. About 56 inches do far.

Holy crap did it rain up in Dallas this weekend! Sure made for some good sleeping laying there in the hotel and listening to the rain beating on the window! Of course, I was also laying there and thinking about all the jobs I'll be looking at in about two weeks because of all that water......

Ate way too much but had a good time with family over the Holiday.....

Had a nice little adventure with the cavalier today that included getting some air and a muddy median , no major damage other than the front bumper being pushed out a tad. My sister in law called it the tank when she had it and I believe it now. It takes a licking and keeps on going.

Several people have died in the glad flooding around DFW, 2 in the Burleson area. 39 and still raining. Glad we have not had to leave the house since Wed eve. Maggie is tired of it though.

I've just been busy and haven't had a lot of time to get on here.

Was also preoccupied trying to get the hell away from my job. Bad situation and finally found what appears to be a good fit. Looking forward to starting in about a week.

Sorry your job did not work out. That can make life miserable. What will the new job entail?

Thanks Jim. This job is pretty what I've been looking to do. A bit of everything: welding, electrical, general contracting and helping learn the overall operation. We know the owner from business dealings and it's a mile from my house lol. They're going to get me certified with everything too. A nice mix and out and about. It's a small business which is what I like.
