Her exhaust manifolds went Sunday night. Typical scenario around 100K except it's usually a slowly worsening tick on one side. The report is both are gone (I had to leave the truck home and get back in town so our buddy looked at it), and everything worked perfect then bang. Sounded horible and worsened bad over a few miles and the truck was acting erratically. Unbearably loud past maybe 2K rpm. Unbearable smell in the cab.

I've can't say I've heard of them going like that. It'd have been the last place I'd have looked.

Unfortunately no, I went and checked the 20s and they were in good shape but one tire had a cut in the sidewall, think the guy was trying to hide it. He wouldn't come down any either after I found the damaged tire. Just can't pay 1k then have to buy another tire. Plus still wanting a grill and surround. More financially better to just keep my chrome 18s. Plus i don't think they look bad, keeps the chrome going on the truck with the door handles and exhaust tip.

After the bumpers, grill and tires next step will be retrofit heads. The stockers flat out suck

I can't wait for mine to be finished, especially with daylight savings time ending and it's dark at 5:45pm

Exactly, tonight I am headed to Abilene to drop off bumpers. Already nervous about the trip. Mine barely shine off the side of the road. Even high beam is poor. I have never yet been flashed due to running with my highbeams on. Hopefully the deer stay put and can make it back without dented fenders, bumpers, or hood

Well the good news if you hit something you can cash out with insurance and pay for stuff you've already bought

Coy, didn't you just buy those Coopers?

Also, what about the Michelin LTX A/T2 or the BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain? Can't really go wrong with with Michelin or BFG.

I have had the Cooper for close to 30k miles, They are starting to get loud and are cupping on the inside. According to Dealership and another place the front end of the truck is fine. I have rotated every 5 to 6k miles and always keep a check on the pressure.

I was actually looking at the LTX A/T2 but the treadwear warranty is only 50k miles and the tire cost's more than the MS2 and Defender LTX which is a 70k mile tire. Thing is i really don't need a A/T, Highway tire will be just fine. Plus if i can shed a few pounds per tire then it will help with the fuel mileage.

I had a set of BFG tires on the KR and they started cracking after a year and by the second year they were getting bad.

I am eyeing the Hankook tire which is a 70k mile tire and then the Firestone LE2 which is a 60k mile tire and right now they are offering buy 3 get 1 free.
