Busy day today getting ready for Colorado in the morning. Started washing the truck at 630 this morning, had my flood lights on and went to work on it. Can't leave on vacation with a dirty truck!! Plus clean trucks get better fuel mileage, right? Now to do the other 100 things. Yal have a good day!
Driving up to Dallas this afternoon for a builder training I have to do tomorrow morning out by the airport. Looks like it's going to be a great day to be out on the highway -- just have to leave late enough that I miss rush hour traffic on the Dallas end of the trip!
They have down town locked up since 8 am this morning. A suspicious package was found in the bank parking lot. They had to call Abilene bomb squad to come check it out. Now they are there and using a RC Robot to check out the package. They still aren't sure if its explosives. Going on 5 hours so far.

I'd love to but it's a lunch event -- we're catering in food and doing our training from 11:00 through the lunch hour. Must be something going on out by the airport -- when I need to work in that part of town I usually stay at the Courtyard on Bass Pro Drive, but I had to stay over in the Galleria area instead since it was the closest Fairfield or Courtyard that had rooms available.
