Wasn't cheap Heading to Colorado in 1 month and getting some of the preventative maintenance out of the way. Going to run it up Pike's Peak along with some other mountain passes and a couple off road trails over looking 12 to 13000 feet. Everything i have seen shows the trails to be easy and 2wd shouldn't be a problem. Figured it was time to make it do some truck duties. Just hope i dont scratch it

Word to the wise, take small circles around "home base" until you know it's fixed properly. Nothing like going 10 miles in a straight line away from the shop just to end up needing to get towed home

Yes -- that's why my run today was only 4-5 miles -- I didn't want to get 15 miles out and then have the wheel freeze up on me again! I was fully expecting to have to have it towed back to my garage this morning and figured I had gotten a bonus by having the wheel "unstick" itself! I'll take baby steps with it until I know for sure that it is fixed properly -- and will make sure I have my AAA card on me just in case I need it.....

The worst thing I usually get with my job is slivers from handling sheets of OSB -- but those little buggers hurt! Of course, I could always fall off a roof if I'm not careful -- hope I didn't just jinx myself.....
I get all kinds of slivers....metal filings, fiberglass , wood, and the latest was carbon fibre....don't worry I keep up on my tetnes shots...

Just woke up -- went back to bed after the wife and boy left for school this morning to see if I could sleep-off that turd the Vikings laid on Monday Night Football last night! Didn't work -- I still feel like I stayed up drinking all night, which given how the Vikings played, would have been a far wiser decision.....

Last day of vacation for me -- back to work on Wednesday!

That's really warm for NoDak this time of year -- by the time you hit September in the Upper Midwest you can usually say goodbye to 90-degree temperatures for the year, except for maybe that "Little Havana" out in Rapid City that always seems to have unusual weather!
