Nice wet day here, but thankfully I don't have to run in a ram.

The rain finally stopped falling last night down here in Houston around midnight -- I think this last month or so has been the cloudiest and rainiest period I have experienced in almost 20 years of living in Texas. Supposed to be sunny and pleasant pretty much the entire coming week -- it will be nice to not be driving in the rain for a change!

Already have a couple days on the road booked for next week -- a trip to look at some jobs north of Dallas (M-W) and another couple of jobs to look at south of Houston on Thursday and Friday. By the time everything is said and done I'll probably put another 700-800 miles on the old Cavalier -- ka-ching......

Was online checking Dallas weather for my trip this week and noticed that radar showed good weather, but a batch of precipitation on the south side of Fort Worth. I was wondering if that was just ground clutter since the rest of the area looked so nice, but I guess it wasn't......

We got lucky -- we headed up to New Braunfels for Spring Break and other than one day (Friday) we really didn't have to deal with any rain. It was overcast and misty most of the time, but nothing that would keep you from doing what you wanted to do.
