The rain finally stopped falling last night down here in Houston around midnight -- I think this last month or so has been the cloudiest and rainiest period I have experienced in almost 20 years of living in Texas. Was online checking Dallas weather for my trip this week and noticed that radar showed good weather, but a batch of precipitation on the south side of Fort Worth. I was wondering if that was just ground clutter since the rest of the area looked so nice, but I guess it wasn't......
We got lucky -- we headed up to New Braunfels for Spring Break and other than one day (Friday) we really didn't have to deal with any rain. It was overcast and misty most of the time, but nothing that would keep you from doing what you wanted to do.
