6 hrs sleep! Packed up and ready to leave for a 3 day camping trip at Grand Isle...only an 1-1/2 hr ride. I've got the trailer with the 2 atv's and my daughter and son in law have the camper and the 2 grandsons. Close to 70 this evening but cold weather and rain due by Monday night and Tuesday. Look's like rain for Mardi Gras day this coming Tuesday. We'll get to see the small parade Sunday at Grand Isle.

Kind of a lazy morning down here in Houston -- supposed to have some rain roll in later this afternoon, so I guess I'll finally find out if the new roof they put on my house the week before last has any leaks in it.....
I decided to only put back on a portion of my gutters when they did the roof and painted the soffit. With all the pine trees we have down here they were constantly getting plugged and I'm sick of standing on a stupid ladder and cleaning the dang things! I'm going to cut the ones that are left into 8' chunks and take them into recycling tomorrow -- whatever money I get for them I'll plunk into my "Thunderbird Fund".......
