G'night!

I'm starting to doze off here myself. My dog fell asleep right on top of my feet.

It was pretty tame. Tortillas, sausage, cheese, eggs and jalapenos in layers. There was salsa to pour over it. I think there will be some left for lunch.

Me and the 8-year-old boy are "bachelor padding" it this weekend -- the wife is off on her annual summer "girls trip" to Galveston with a bunch of her teacher friends. After loading them up and getting them on the road yesterday I couldn't decide if I was in the "Grapes of Wrath" or an episode of "Laurel & Hardy"........

First off, the heaven's decided to open up just as I was helping them load their gear into my wife's car. Then one of the girls tried backing her SUV out of my curvy driveway and got hung-up on my brick mailbox. Finally, women must think "school bus" when they hear the words "Ford Escape" because that is what you would have needed to have to haul all the gear they were trying to bring along! At one point, one of the girls handed me a box fan out of the back of her car and I just looked at her as if to say, "Seriously....???" When they left my place they still had one more girl to pick up along the way and all I can say is I hope all she packed was a bikini!

Booze you ask? By the time I got them loaded, I felt as if I had spent an entire afternoon working on the loading dock of a Jose Cuervo facility.......
