Is that close to San Antonio or is that the park in San Antonio...I think I've been there before or at least went through the town.
I didn't have to pay anything on my CDL, but mine is a few grand too.
I might have a new addition to my truck soon... fingers crossed. Been wanting one for a long time.
Also, averaged 20 mpg this week commuting to work. Such an easy drive.

course books were $1000
simulator time and course training around $1000
plane rental is about $100-$130 per hour...so around $4000 for required hours.
then there incidentel fees...
his goal is to get the commercial pilots license which is a minimum of 1500 hours of flight time...so this will help get him a head start when he goes to college for business aviation degree in the fall of 2015
