Man the heat and humidity hit us full throttle the last two days. Low 90's with heat indexes in the mid 100's. Dew point temp's in the 76 to 78 degree range. Two shower a day weather!

I didn't have to pay anything on my CDL, but mine is a few grand too.

I might have a new addition to my truck soon... fingers crossed. Been wanting one for a long time.

Also, averaged 20 mpg this week commuting to work. Such an easy drive.

If I broke down, just can't see risking that EB breaking down too. I would just call my cousin to come with his Chevy. Better chance of being rescued!

private pilots license....

course books were $1000
simulator time and course training around $1000
plane rental is about $100-$130 per hour...so around $4000 for required hours.
then there incidentel fees...

his goal is to get the commercial pilots license which is a minimum of 1500 hours of flight time...so this will help get him a head start when he goes to college for business aviation degree in the fall of 2015
