Cars in Alabama were spontaneously bursting into flames. Guess they couldn't handle the pressure anymore...

It was cool that morning when I got up. It was in the 30s and warmed up to the 60s. Gorgeous weather during the day.

I have uniform pants since ive been at Mercedes. Body shop has sharp metal and broken glass. Wearing pants is a necessity.

Morning.

I was getting a little worried the last couple weeks that something was wrong with my truck because the fuel mileage dropped from 15.5 mpg to 12.5 mpg. Turns out my truck hates the cold weather as much as I do!!

Chris, my fuel mileage bounced back up since it's warmed up the last couple days. Even with the winter front closed the truck had a tough time warming up other than when I had the skid-steer behind it on Sunday taking it back to Escanaba.

Yeah, mine never gets to fully warm up either since that's just for short trips around town. Plus the hills don't help.

Same as the old truck got, so I can't complain.

No...that's not to shabby for in town driving in Houghton. I'm just really surprised the truck won't warm up even running the big tune in it with better fuel tables than the stock tune.

I had the fan kick on Sunday and scare the crap out of me since I've never had it kick on in the winter. I need to make a block off plate for the space in the front bumper between my fog lights when it's really cold like this.

PawPaw, there isn't one flat spot of ground to drive on where Chris is living you are either going up hill or down hill with very little middle ground. Some of the hills are probably 5% grade or greater in places.

Yeah, well... uhmmmm....

We don't have hurricanes....

The worst is that people don't understand that they need momentum to make it up these hills in the winter. They what until they're on the hill and them hammer down. Then they don't understand why they can't make it up the hill with their tires spinning.
