It is pretty scary considering he's only 9 years older than me, very active, and in fairly decent shape. It really has me thinking about how quick life can change because he stopped by my house at around 5 last night while I was out moving snow.
Wow, that's crazy that you saw him just a few hours prior. Prayers sent and I hope all goes well from here on out.

Oh, and Jim, found out family friends (high school-age kids) got held at gunpoint by three young black men in their driveway last weekend in broad daylight at 3 in the afternoon. They got their phones and wallets taken and the thugs had their guns right behind their heads. Right down the street from my folks' house in Sugar Land. Not something that happens real often here.

The stuff going on around there is why my son in law and daughter decided to get to the country. There was stuff going on with the kids when they would go down to the creek that runs by the golf course. Sexual predator stuff. Going to the country was a great decision for the 4 kids and my daughter was already home schooling. I just don't understand today's society and morals.

It's concerning to say the least. Just think of all the crap that goes on that we don't hear about.

Rocket fuel for the snow thrower. Man it's coming down, BIG Flakes!

Sometimes I'll top off the pocket warmer before heading out to blow snow, - holds about a pint. Need to clean that little thing out tho, -thanks for the reminder. Should pick up a few cigars as well. My own personal party.

Made it to fort worth last night no problems at all. Even more impressed with the EB now. It pulled it effortlessly at 65 the whole way and got 13.8 mpgs.

Those thugs follow the "up and coming affluent neighborhoods" as someone put it. They were here for a while, then moved to Katy, then another neighborhood, and I guess they're making their way back here with Telfair up now.

I'd actually prefer we not hear about anything at all. If the media would shut up and not report things, we'd have a lot less school-type shootings for those idiots that want publicity, and then we wouldn't have people asking to ban firearms . . .

That's so sad that that's the best mpg I've ever gotten, without towing a thing

Bought and planed a live oak for my back yard. 35 gallon bucket tree, approximately 9 foot tall. Well it was a belated birthday present from my parents, just had to do the labor of digging the hole. Hole was 30" round and 15" deep

Those take 7 or 8 years to get established but then take off pretty well. Live a long time and are pretty trees.
