I started working when I was 11, loading a Toms Peanut truck every evening. Did that until I got my license at 14 and started delivering auto parts. Worked half a day in high school and 2 years if Jr college at a local bank(1959-1963). Then worked 40 hours a week at the college where I transferred until I got out. Out of school, went to work for a CPA firm. That was 1967.

I worked for a seaplane base for 2 summer's when I was in high school. Fueled them up washed them and pumped out the float's. Pulled them out with a dolly and a old Ford tractor. Beat the heck out of re-sacking drilling mud for my uncle at Milwhite Mud! Did this at 16 and 17 yrs old. Hard to get kid's out of the house and off the video games now. Southern Seaplane was the company.

I believe you're correct and I would say you were working before I was born.

It was a fun job plus I was learning to fly for free. Like an idiot I didn't stick with it. Cessna 172's and 180's.

Probably skeetin dust anyway . . .

Something about 40% thinner says 40% more likely to break . . .

I think it can. At times, I bet it seems that there's never enough time off... From my experience anyway lol.
