Last time I drove the Mule, there was an oder when I shut it off. Best way to describe it, smelled just like when I used to have the old radiators rebuilt, they would dip them in caustic, the paint them. When you ran it the first couple of times, it had a very distinctive oder. This was similar. I'm think now that it could have been bakelite or something that was hot. Last night, it started up as usual and when I gave it gas to back up, it died. It never would start again. It will sit and turn over till the battery goes down, never fires off. That sounds like no fuel, but I could smell gas like it got flooded, so I am thinking electrical. Maybe coil?

That sucks, I have never heard much good about Wells Fargo.
Last time I drove it was last Thursday. I put some oil in it last night, it was at the bottom of the crosshairs, I brought it up just below the top of the crosshairs. I poured the oil in after removing a black cap that sits on top of what looks like a cylinder head. Never seen one just like that. There are too, in a V shape, the cap is on one of them. I checked the water, and it looked good, lots of antifreeze. I know it has fuel, the gauge shows it does, plus I added some just to make sure.

Use your DMM and verify the coil is getting voltage
if its carburated it could be some gunk/varnish/debris in the bowl not allowing the needle+seat to work correctly.....check the fuel lines and tank for gunk/debris
if its a slide carb make sure the slide working correctly and the jet isn't plugged....
