Ended up not doing my transmission today. I forgot to take my disconnect tool for the tranny lines and the shop I took it to didn't have one. Going on Saturday to do it.

Na PawPaw. It's only about 20* here with about 2" of snow. Beer opening is no problem.

Well im kinda bummed, my brand new Dayco belt slips really bad at WOT shifts. My 4 year old Gatorback didnt ever slip once. Wish people still carried the Gatorbacks.

But that being said, i never tried WOT with the new HO alternator with the old Gator, so not sure if its a belt issue, or a harder spun alternator that is causing so much belt slip when its slowing from 5k to 3k pretty much instantly.....

Is the pulley size of your new alt a tad smaller than stock? Might be the reason for the loose belt.....

Too bad they don't stock the GB's in stores down there.....they do up here.....
