Yes, but as long thats what your using the grinder for to smooth the weld down, not to see if you actually welded the pieces together hahaha

On the side note, I love the smell of grinded metal

My aim is better than that.....

This is the second attempt at building this project, I got a little carried away the first time and welded it together as I went not bothering to check if it was any where close to square. I know have a really solid out of square 1'x2' base to something or I may cut it apart and make something else out of it. So $106 later for new steel I am taking my time and squaring everything up as I tack it together and it's going together much better this time.

Tomorrow, I am going to Home Depot and getting some more Vice Grip style welding clamps and two 8"x12" rafter squares.

Nah......It's just a little 2'-8" but when I have the big door open the wind slams the man door shut so hard some times I think it's going to break the window in it.
