another hot Monday. In Burleson, they are asking people to turn off their pool pumps, turn up their thermostats, and unplug all appliances that continually draw power. Trying to avoid rolling blackouts.

Well, filled up with Chevron instead of the Conoco I had last week. Last week, got 19.0 for the 100 mile drive over here and this morning, 21.4. Also had the cruise set on 70 instead of 68, otherwise, drove the same. Not conclusive but I will be checking that out some more.

Wow jim thats really good numbers you're getting. I've got the itch to trade in the 07 fx4 thats currently getting 14 but the wife want hear nothing of it. Then again I really love my truck. I think its the best looking model Ford has ever put on the ground. I'm so torn.

Yeah, I know. I drove the 2005 this weekend. Still love that truck, that body style is my favorite.

It is pretty neat to watch that screen as you go down the road and see what hills and stop lights do to you. From Ennis to Corsicana on 45, I had it set on 70 and it averaged 21.7 for that stretch. I have about 2100 miles on it now.
