John, the brakes are one of the easiest things you will ever do, maintence wise, on a vehicle. You will do just fine, with all of the instruction taht is available now. You will be very satisfied with the results of doing it yourself and it will save a lot of money. Just grow a pair, lettem drop, and get after it!

I forgot it was Wed.

You guys can not imagine how quiet it is every night at the little house in the woods, me there by myself. An occasional vehicle will go down the road, but I can go several evenings without seeing another person. No TV, no phone, just the birds, crickets and critters. So dark you can feel it except during full moon. I go visit the BIL a couple of nights a week, though, so do see some football.

I bet, I miss going to camp and sitting on the deck at night because it's a lot like that. I would really like to unload the house we are in and build one out of town just to be able to do that again. I was laying in bed last night and hear CRUNCH!! uh oh that didn't sound good so I stuck my nose out the upstairs window to see what happend. Someone ran into a parked car up the block......

I have to water all the plants and the grass. Have one of those tractor sprinklers that does most of it. last night, I even vacuumed. That was a first in a looooong time. I either fix something to eat or go about 20 minutes to some places. Other than that, I read. When the wife and Maggie are there, always stuff to do plus too much conversation. LOL
