Those the best to tune? I always hear they are the most problematic but it's probably because I don't know. I know the old 7.3 is a beast.

because for the money and overall value I can get better performance out of a 6.0 truck


(EGR and head studs will be done before we make a final deal that's for sure)

That's true you can pick up a pretty nice 6.0 for around 20k right now and with fuel prices going up they are only going to get cheaper. Speaking of fuel prices we broke $4/gallon today it was $4.05 when I filled up.

Yeah, if your looking for a good power platform, a 6.0 with the fixed studs and EGR are great for building a mild beast diesel.

If your looking for reliability and still having a decent amount of power at your disposal, then 7.3 is the way to go.

if I can find a 7.3 truck with the options we want it'll be the pick of the litter for sure
