Got a question for you guys. How much of a power/braking and mpg difference would I see with my planned 22" polished Harley's? I was planning a 305-45-22, but how would a 285-45-22 look? I don't want to take a bit hit in mpg's either. IIRC Stealth said he barely lost any if at all and still average 18ish?

i lost 1mpg with my 20s but they are redicolusly heavy

These wheels I just read are forged... that saves a ton of weight and they are strong.

I lost closer to 1.5 with the heavy wheels and the big tires. It amazed me how much heavier they are compared to the stock wheel and the oversized tires I was running.

The power and braking were not really noticed, just the mpg.

yah my only saving grace is that my tires are undersized giving me a mechanical advantage of overall effective lower gear ratio

If I was concerned with mpg, I would make myself sick with what the mods have done to mine. I have added so much weight from stock, plus the wider and taller tires. But, the stock wheels and tires were just not acceptable(245/65/17) The nerf bars added weight. The only thing I did that helped was lowering 2" in the rear.

Stock Highway 19.2 now 17.5
Stock Local 17.1 now 14.5

Question...

Does it make me a slacker to have to take the day off to catch up on my yard work because I'm working so much overtime that I can't keep up with my yard work?
