Funny how things work out. I decide on a whim to put the charger on the 5 year old battery and it takes a charge. It's been completely dead for a couple of years at least. The car fired right up basically, for an RX-7. Then the guys showed up to see it again, and had a new clutch slave cylinder, since I diagnosed the one on the car was bad. They replaced it on my driveway and they DROVE the thing OFF!!! Yes. Got 2 bills of sale filled out and signed, and signed and turned over the title.

I'm also glad the car is going to a good guy, not some hack.

I am so relieved to have it sold the car to a stand up guy. That RX-7 had been in our family since 1985.

It's in a safe place, on my dresser with all my other junk.

I asked the guy You going to drive that thing away with no tags or inspection or insurance? I guess he's a gambler.

He may have gotten some coverage, he was doing a lot of cell phone fiddling for a while we were working on the car.

In SD a bill of sale(copy) and the signed title allows the buyer 30 days to get it registered.
But.
The part that bites is how many times do they want to explain their story to the cops everytime they get pulled over for expired tags!

Same in AL. I've know guys to just keep rewriting the BOS with a new sale date.
