Let's start over......

Probably gonna try and mock it up after work one day.
Saturday I notched the bottom of my bed where my diff housing was coming up too high, now my spring perches are bottoming out on the top of my notch on big bumps, those L leafs are soft, they are traveling 3" before they bottom out. Not sure if i should try and trim the top corners of my spring perches or just put my bumpstops back in, or both.

Irons for the average golfer to the hacker, I don't think you can beat the Callaway irons. Look for a set of Callaway X12s or X14s. There should be some fairly cheap. For woods, Taylormade, Adams, Callaway and Cleveland are good.
YOu are just much better off going with a name brand where they match shafts. Also, unless you have a very fast swing speed, which few of us normal folk do, be sure to get regular shafts. The firm and stiff shifts are for the 115 mph and up swing speeds.

Honestly, they are a very cheap club. They were made to be sold at Sams. walmart and such discount places. They do not have matched shafts and weights. If all you want to do is go out and bang around, then they will do that. If you really want to play and work on the game then I would get a better set.

That is fine if you want to do that. I did that as I was starting the game about 18 years ago and after I bought 3 cheap sets, wished I had bought good ones to start with. You should be able to buy a set of older Callaway X12s for $200 to $300 and you will develop a lot of confidence in them.
