The 1 1/2 will be used for the creeper and the 1x2 will be used for the up right. Then I will go from there. Mine will also be adjustable.

two sized tubes drilled with a heavy pin, similar to a receiver hitch, or a engine hoist

That's pretty much what I had planned but using quick hitch pins in place of the receiver pins. I have a problem with losing the damn pins.


Kind of like these for the landing gear on a fifth wheel.

I would probably do every 6" in height, so its still strong, but has a decent amount of adjustability

You could get a clevis pin with stranded wire going through one of the holes then crimped back onto the wire itself. Then bolt the wire to the creeper its self so you wouldn't lose it. Prolly be cheaper.
