ya .22's are fun i wish i had some cheap ammo and what not....but theres nothin like the power of the 12GA :) ya my mom doesnt care what guns i buy as long as i buy them and there in my name. kidna wish i had a .22 but a grand on a gun.... i think id buy somthing a lil bigger then a .22.....like lets say.... a .50cal M2 MODUCE!!!! haha or is that over a grand?? .22's are sweet cause you can shoot them in your back yard and no one will hear it :)

Yes remote starters in michigan are amazing!! i love mine it came with the truck...just have the Def on 2 when i get out... get up at 7AM go to the window start it up eat breakfast brush my teeth and my truck has been on for 10-15mins and its nice and warm :)

I was thinking about this, and if you were set on a Ruger 10/22 as base, don't buy one. What I mean is, if you were to buy one for $200 or so and put $800 in to it, you could replace every single part on it. So, go out and find the barrel, the action, the trigger, the stock, etc from aftermarket companies and just assemble it at home. 10/22 parts are very easy to find and you could build a custom one that is very nice for about a grand.

Wow I just nearly pissed all over myself from laughing so hard, because I was thinking the same thing.

As for a really accurate 22 it just depends on your definition of accuracy. I shot 4-h silhouette when I was growing up, we had some 22's built that would shout a 5 round 1" group( you can cover the holes with a quarter) at 100 yards from a rest. If you want to build something like that now your probably talking $1500 to $2000 depending on what action you use. If you want to stick with your the Ruger there isn't a whole lot to do for accuracy, buy a good scope and stock have both mounted well and site it in correctly and the gun will probably shoot better than you will be able to.( Not making a crack at your skills, but you are a beginning shooter and it takes a lot of rounds to become a good shot.) As for work to the gun to make it more accurate you can look for a match grade barrel. or have weight added to the end of the stock barrel. The weight will take some of the shake out of the gun when your trying to find your target.
