Well, after giving the Middle East a Billion Dollars a day in oil, & Spending more Billions in Iraq, whats a 1.2 Billion Dollar plane crash.......saw story of crash on Fox news. Pilots lived!.....

Wow, I'd never think an aircraft so complex would crash. Proabably a microburst. I've seen two of these in real life! You didnt know it was there until it was like 1,000 above our heads!

 

The only way that I can fathom a billion is to think...999,999,999 + 1 = 1 billion

 

I wonder what the fine is for crashing a 1.2billion dollar aircraft?

Do ya think they retrieved the black box recorder, and heard..."hold my beer, and watch this!"

 

Not a good week for the fly boys. Earlier this week they lost two F15 SE in the gulf during training maneuvers. Both pilots ejected and were recovered but one expired soon after receiving treatment. And now the B2 in Guam. I can see a serious safety stand-down week up coming.

 

I see Lockheed getting some more business..

 

Actually they are so complex it's a wonder they fly. Some mighty fine software keeping those things in line.

I'm glad the pilots got out safely. And, i hope no one was hurt on the ground. That looks like it is near the AMC terminal on the flight line. probally a case of wind shear soon after Vlof.

 

show me where we give billions of dollars a day to the mideast.. I am assuming you mean OPEC for oil... we get the vast majority of the oil from canada and south america.
