Lemon Icebox Cake
Make one box Lemon Cake mix
While still warm, poke holes with wooden spoon handle
Mix lemon pudding and pour on before it sets
Put in icebox to cool. Then add cool whip for topping.

I need a good chili recipe.... Something with a lil spice, but not something that is painfully spicey

I could use one myself. In all my years and cooking, I've never made a chili.

You know my dad has a fantastic chili, I was actually looking for something to bring to him that he might find as good. I will try to get the recipe from him and post it up monday, it will not dissapoint

Grandma's Cream Cheese Supreme
2 cans cresent rolls
2 eight ounce packs cream cheese
2 eggs separated
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 T. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
Pecans(opt)
Preheat oven to 350
Grease 9x13 cake pan
Mix cream cheese, egg yolks, 1 C. Sugar, vanilla
unroll cresents on bottom of pan(keep them all together)
spread cream cheese over top
unroll cresent #2 on top of cream cheese mixture
brush egg whites on top
sprinkle with remaining sugar, cinnamon and pecans
bake for 35 min or until not gooey.

I'm assuming he's from TX too? The crap chili up here is loaded with beans.

Yup Texan..
about the beans..., that bother's me also. I can't even remeber if his has beans, if so it's not many. I dont even know if his recipe is written, I think he makes it by heart. I'm sure I can get him to write something down for me. He won a chili cookoff here with it in the mid 1990's
