Would you keep the pet?

It might sound callous but that's a tough lesson to learn.
About 25 years ago my sister was attacked by a bull dog.. I was going out to play with my sister I was 7 and she was almost 2 we shared a fence with the guy next door and my sister was by the fence "playing" with Barney (the bull dog)
the dog somehow got out and was on top of her biting and scratching at her almost ripping her nose off it took over 300 stitches to get her back together again long story short ...my sister should not have been out side alone (mom's fault) the dog should have not gotten out (owners fault) my dad came home and killed the dog in front of the police with a .357 ...yes he went to jail right away and paid a big fine and spent the weekend in jail ...but the dog never attacked anyone again.......

What I did say at the very start....was that the kid's actions caused the results. I was actually absolving the dog of responsibility. Now...the training of the dog and the mothers handling of the situation and the raising of the child are something else entirely. That is NOT backtracking, I just simply went on one tangent and you took that to mean what you thought it should mean.
Shines; you just got
.
I admit; I'd have a hard time getting rid of the dog based on the info given, but in the same breath, I can't really make that call without at least seeing what happened, or an accurate description of how the dog and child were interacting.

I used to think like you. Its not your fault that you're a young college kid.

If not, your name calling and belittling is meaningless (moreso than it already is

You read a goofy government article, and you take it as fact. If you do not have kids, then you don't understand. If you still disagree, then you REALLY don't get it. I can't change your mind, you just have to grow up. You don't see me on this forum asking advice on getting into a girls pants that already has a boyfriend. Why? Because I have been married nine years, and I am way past that.
