Dude, I agree 100%. My wife also has a 07 FWD SE and it is still nice and Luxurious. She wanted the panoramic roof and navigation and all that BS and I was having no part of that, nor could I afford it. The only options that hers really has is, Keypad on the door, Satelitte Radio and a Pinstripe, but it is a great car. She always says she wants to upgrade to a higher trim level or the Lincoln version and I just let her dream. I was at the Ford Dealer last week picking up my truck and they had a loaded EDGE on the lot. So I stopped to look and the WAS/NOW price hanging from the rearview mirror was WAS $31,995 NOW $29,995 and I was like DAMN thats not a bad price at all. Than I walk around it and look at the window sticker and It was a 2007 with almost 30,000 miles on it. That thing is 2 years old and still a few grand more than I paid for my wifes brand new. I don't know about other people but I prefer New Car Smell, a full warranty and a few less features versus someone else's problem with a bunch of fancy options that will end up breaking.

Yeah, when I go to the dealership I'm always looking at the Edge Sports that they have on the lot. I don't think that the Edge is much of a looker, but the Sport does look pretty good. Only 41K. If I were going to spend that kind of money, I'd be getting a Mustang or diesel Super Duty.
