speeding.

I got a speeding ticket lastnight!

the first moving violation i've had in about 25 years.
Sure i open one up every once and a while but I am careful where like anyone else.
I was running late for a meeting that was a two hour drive.
68 in a 55 .

What pisses me off

I said "thank you"
wtf

I hate it when you got a relatively great driving record. And you do an infraction, like a u-turn or under 15 mph over, and they ticket you. I mean, everyone has an off day, may not be paying attention. Wife might be sick, etc, etc. There are way more people to pull over than some guy with a near perfect diving record.

I did a u-turn and got a ticket not too long ago. I have a clean driving record. It was some small town cop in a 2 cop town. Son of a bitch had the ***** to tell me to not u turn on his highways. HIS. I wanted to rip his throat out. I was in uniform and everything (military). Not that I expect that to get me out of things, but a u-turn for god sakes? But what I hated the most was his smart *** attitude! I would of loved to show him who had the best training if you know what I mean . People wonder why cops get jacked up all the time. Guys like this make a bad name for the decent ones. Goes for everything I guess though.

Just one of those days man. Pay it, and move on with life.

I thought that it might help that my registration and insurance card was stapled to a base parking pass. Didn't make any difference.
i can pay the fine and get it converted to a civil penalty, that will help, but that hurt.

I think the fine will be about $150
I know there are some officers, troopers and Deputies on this forum but i just gotta bitch!
I usually travel closer to the speed limit but ya know how it is.
should a told him my poor sick Mama is in the hospital in Little Rock
Thanks guys!
I know i was wrong, I'll be good oficer.

Honest OCifer I haden droped a drink all day

Ya That U turn thing got me one time in Virgina it a violation to make a U turn at a uncontrolled intersection I turned in to a residential neighbor hood as not to mess thing up in rush hour on the main road at a light with no turn arrow (so if I would had just mad it at the light would of been fine would had massed traffic up but wouldn't of got a ticket) If any of you tryed to make a U turn in a E250 on a two lane HWY its more like a three point turn.

Pay the fine and move on

I said that when I got my last ticket, I have no idea why either. May be the trauma from being cuffed and stuffed when I ran from the fuzz that one time.........

I got pulled over on 65 south in Pine Bluff, AR by a state trooper back in September. I had gotten off of work at 12:00 that day drove up to Malvern,AR to get my girlfriend from which was a three and a half hour drive. Was driving back home it was about 6:00. I was tired and ready to get home the sucker clocked me at 73 in a 65 pulled me over and walked up to my truck told me why he pulled me over and I was like officer I had my cruise set at 70mph he looked around my truck and was like you know bigger tires will mess up your speedometer I played it dumb and was like no sir I didn't. Then he started looking at me and was like sir have you been doing anything illegal? My eyes were blood shot to hell cause I had been driving for so long. He eventually let me go with a warning. First time I have ever been pulled over for speeding. Hopefully my luck will stay good.

i got pulled over sunday night for having a headlight out. it was about 12:30 and i was heading back to school, and the officer who pulled my over said he could smell alchol on my breath. since im under 21 that means that i would be i a lot of trouble. well anyones he makes me do all the road side subrity test and i pass all of them but he says that he still thought i was drinking and i was under arrest. so he cuffs my puts my in the back of his cruiser and then drives me to the police station were i had to sit cuffed for 15 minutes waiting to take a braithilizer test. so i pass the test and the cop is pissed becuase he thought he had me, and tells me im lucky they havent towed my car yet and he will take me to it. what pisses me off is that he didnt even say sorry, and he most of trying to get someone that night becuase i hadnt even been drinking so there is no way he could have smelled it on me.
