Mustang. If gas milage is a concern, get one with a V6 in it. V6 Mustangs are kinda lame, but they are a heck of a lot less lame than any import!
I honestly could never imagine trading my truck in on a car, but if I did, the only car that could ever hope to replace my truck would be a Mustang.

These are your college cars?

I guess the part-time work study jobs pay a helluva lot more now than when I was on campus back in the 80's! We were happy to pile into the back seat of anything that had an engine and a half tank of gas -- new cars (let alone ones from that list) would have existed only in our beer-induced fantasies!

By the way, if fuel economy is one of your concerns you'd best scratch the Mustang -- I fully suspect my '08 GT gets far worse gas mileage than my F-150........

i will not get a V6 mustang....i will only get a V6 if its in the 350Z or Infiniti...cause they both produce great power and can take a helluva lot.

i personally think V6 stangs are a disgrace to the mustang legacy.

Believe it or not... the Mustang was introduced as a "cheap" or "econo" type of car back in the day... how it's gotten so expensive is beyond me.

Just like the Corvette... my Mom had one... I think she only paid something like 14k for it with only like 20k on it.

It wasn't a lot I can tell you that.

yeah but your F150 isnt lifted with 38's on it and 20's and 4.56 gears.

Stang GT will get much better. plus it will be fast and fun.

gotta keep the prices the same as everyone else. But realistically the corvette is a LOT of car for that price versus what it can compete with. You can still find 71 vettes today for 14k. It's not like they were speed demons, but they were damn fine cars.

I can assure you that my Mustang GT gets nowhere near the mileage numbers shown. Of course, I drive it like a Mustang GT should be driven......
