So you think Islam is a peaceful religion?

This is the distinction for me. Christians do kill people and are violent as well, but 99% of the time are not violent or kill people in the name of Christianity. You don't hear a priest or clergyman praise a murderer for his actions. On the other hand you do hear Muslim Clerics call for the deaths of innocent people. Furthermore preaching a wonderful afterlife for someone who murders. The murderers are held up as heroes and martyrs.

Back in the south during the 60's when the KKK was at its height, not everyone was a member of the KKK. But everyone in the south took an approach of, "well I will just sit here on my porch and pretend I do not know what is going on." By being complacent, like most of the Muslims are, does as much to spread evil as actually strappin' on a bomb.

The islamic religion is a religion of hate just like the KKK was.

CrAz3D, name one Christian religion that is currently killing in the name of God. Christian religions may have done that in the past, but they realized they were wrong in doing so, so they apologized, asked for forgiveness, and stopped their actions. Now, can you say the same about islam?

Not the same. Claiming you're Christian and killing, that doesn't work. They're not Christians. Islams are, can, and do.

Sudan is a political conflict. It is fueled by the Sudanese Govt who is aligning with pro government ARAB militias. Not a Christian conflict.

I don't see how any group of people who practice the policy of infibulating half their members can be considered anything but violent and hateful. Rape is acceptable simply because a man became aroused?

Actually, it's simple. Christianity is a religion of God. No matter what some do in His name, Jesus teaches love and understanding.

Islam is the work of the Devil. No matter that some don't get off their's and actively join in, Mohammed preaches death and destruction.

Some of you really ought to bone up on your history.

That is a terrible comparison. Abortion bombers and islamic suicide bombers! Are you serious. I can count the number of abortion bombings in the past ten years on one hand.

Me neither. He's really grasping at straws.

People killing in the name of Christianity are not Christians, they are liars and not influenced by God, but Satan. Now that comparisan is similar to muslims, as they are influenced by Satan as well, hence why they kill.

You claim he's grasping at straws, yet seem unaware that you're talking about the same God.

When was the last "crusade" endorsed by the Church of Islam?

They call them jihad, and they never stop.

A whole lot more recent than anything endorsed by the leaders of Islam. If you take a look at history it's not difficult to see why radical elements of the Muslim religion exist. Many regions lived in peace until the peace loving Christians came to visit.

It's the exact same thing!

Precisely the same thing, it cant be any more identical if you tried to make it up!

Just because they claim to be Islam and do evil, dosen't make them any more Islam than those that claim to be Christians and do evil deeds..

It's called stereotype.

Yeah...those poor Muslims. those "rare" radicals just really give such a loving and peaceful religion an undeserving bad name.

Give me a break.

How the hell can you live in the world we live in today and possibly even attempt to defend Islam and say that it doesn't foster hate, death, and discrimination more than any other religion on Earth?

If the extremists are so rare, why is that every single time I turn on my TV I hear about NUMEROUS killings, bombings, suicide attacks etc and watch footage of HUNDREDS and THOUSANDS of MUSLIMS jumping and cheering.

Talk about grasping at straws. Give me a freaking break. Your argument is as pathetic as Islam is great at fostering hatred.
