Nothing cost more than John Deer Green paint job.

I'd have a JD if it was gave to me, they aren't bad, but I wouldn't pay the price they want.

I'd rather a Ford, Ford Fergason, Massey Fergason, International, Kubota, Coyote, or pretty much anything else.

I can buy 3 of those for the price of 1 of those that are painted green.

They might be good, but they aren't 3 times better good.

LOL.. I can hardly read your post but I'll take a stab at it. I know nothing of snow plowing, I've never done it. I know a lot about tractors though and was stating my opinion. When you run the forum you can ban behavior like this in the GENERAL DISCUSSION forum but until that day comes go pound sand. I would also like to add please go back to school or even to FTW. We don't like you here and we all laugh at you because you are an idiot.

PS: How did those Christmas lights end up for you? Did you set your home on fire? I surely hope so. Have a good holiday!

Yea it might be a little costly, but you could plow your entire drive, paths AND yard with just one pass, plus level your neighbors house and do it all in teh comfort of a heated cab. Damn thing probably gets satellite radio and TV too.

Going back to the topic

I have used my lawn tractor in the past to move snow around and IMO they aren't the best way to do things. A lawn tractor just isn't heavy-duty enough to move much weight around no matter if you put chains and a 50lb brick on the back. You'll end up spending a few hundred dollars and I believe will be unsatisfied in the end. You'll eventually want to start plowing the whole driveway cause it would seem much quicker but the performance will just be lacking. I now use my Brute Force 650 with 60" plow and that thing can move some serious weight. Lawn tractors just aren't cut out for snow removal unless using a thrower attachment.

A Lawn tractor will usually not fare well, in the heavy wet white stuff, unless maybe a snow-thrower is attatched. I'm looking at a Cab for my Deere, last year I nearly froze my **** off, without one. You need one to keep the wind/snow/freezing rain off of you, especially in the freezing temps! A Cab for the Deere, is cheaper that a plow for the F-150.........
