US vs. Canadian dollar

It seems the Canadian dollar is on a headlong rush towards parity with its US counterpart. Some analysts are predicting parity by the end of this year, with a few suggesting it might even surpass the US dollar.

Can't argue, the American economy boomed from 92-00 and actually produced budget surpluses. And that's when the US dollar was almost 2 to 1 for the dollar.
This pretty much sums it up.

I ordered something from the US yesterday but my credit card still charged me 95.xxx on the dollar. Even once the dollar goes par, obviously the banks don't work for free and I'd imagine it would be about 98 cents on the dollar.
This does and will hurt Canadian exports.

Here's an educated response, aren't you the one who shoved a Qtip in his ear then started a thread about it?

Looks like it's time to start ordering those parts for my truck that I've had my eye on.

Its not so much about quanity, it is about quality and price. By the time BC makes it down to Texas it is old and has changed hands so many times the price is rediculous. We usually land the bud from Mexico after it has changed hands only once, 2x if you are not talking to the right person. Fresh stuff and decent price. While most of the stuff Mexico bring here is your run of the mill seedy schwag they also do decent dro.

Dave, we also export the genes that don't make it out of the shallow end of the pool, now I know where they go.
