funny thing.. I find it funny anyway, is that in type we spell it out properly.
Mayonaise is typed, "man there is"
Daggum would be typed "Dad gum"
I honestly dont know the orgins of that phrase nor it's true meaning, I just know what it's a replacement for and how to use it.

I just don't understand how that word can be translated into that!!I honestly have never heard that one before!!The Daggum is just funny to me.I dunno man but some of those words work to confuse the hell out of me!!!If it is to confuse us then it works!!!
What other words ya"ll got???
I'd say that confusion is probably in the way you pronounce "mayonaise".
Northerners pronounce it May-o-naise, but in the south it's pronounced Manaise. Which sounds similar to "Man there's", not sure how, when or where "er's" got switched to "aise" but it did.

Probably on tof your first ones you picked up was "bless thier heart"
This is one of the the best phrases ever!!!!!
You can insult anyone and as long as you put that behind it then they arent offended!
Shes so Skinny she has to jump around in the shower just to get wet, bless her heart.
Man, she's uglier than a lard bucket full of arm pits, bless her heart.
The wheels are turning but the hamster is dead, bless his heart.
There are splinters in the windmills of her mind, bless her heart.
He is a few buckets short of a full cup of water, bless his heart.
See isnt it great!!!!!

The first thing I remember after moving to Texas as a youngster, other than the hot *** sun, was the pronunciation of the numbers five and nine, and the phrase fixin to. I was like WTH? This sure isn't Virginia.
"fixin" is for sure a common word here.
How bout "Gotomighty"? Pronounced "Got-oh-Mighty!". Meaning God All Mighty. That is one I remember my Grandaddy and Great Uncle's using when I was growing up.
Or how about "Deadgummit!" I guess to take the place of God Dammitt (Lord I apologize). Anyone else remember hearing these?
How bout "Gonetoo" meaning "going to".
How about this phrase that you can hear every Friday night at ANY High School football game (even from the ladies) "Tackle that sumbitch and break his leg!" Ahhhhh I love being a Texan.
