You must mean Dobros, (the original steel) thats the sound that a steel guitar is trying to reporduce. Cause there still aint no steel guitars in the mountians.

aww that's just terrible, haha.

I feel bad for you man, country stations out here don't usually let that kind of crap slide into the rotation.

I fail to see the relevance in your post. So what the guy worked at FootLocker? It just shows hes got motivation and drive, chit my hats off to him. I don't like his music but at least he made it out of FootLocker!

fagboy troy wont last. Blah blah i dont give a **** insult country and compare him to hank jr, hank went back to roots n didnt go that far off of what country is, troy here is pop. Country is traditional, it never gets old. Cowboy troy is pop, pop you listen to a song for a month then you forget about it. You wont consider it great a few years from now, and ill be damned if country becomes that way.

some of you people are so hateful jeez. I guess I am used to it being 8 miles from Kid Rocks home town I can see how he went from a Rapper to Rock to Country it just all kind of melts together around here. I don't listen to much rap, but I see it all as music and if it sounds good I don't care who sings it and what Genre it is, Genre's are just a way of seperating songs on my Ipod.

I just saw the video in question this morning as I had never even heard of Cowboy Troy. All I can say is It was horrible. The only thing that kept me watching it was I wanted to see what you guys were talking about. I have listened to Country music most of my life and I know that is nowhere near country. Just because he wears a cowboy hat DOES NOT make him a country singer.

I like to listen to mainly 80's - 90's country music and then a variety of other genre's. I just don't like listening to wannabe's as this guy "Cowboy Troy" obviously is. He ranks up there with Kevin Federline trying to be a rapper.
