06/07 5.4 F150 or Hemi ram??

So first off, i dont mean to beat a dead horse. 2nd, im not looking to read BS about "slow" hemi's. Ive gone to the track, ive seen them run, and they do very well.

Unfortunately i dont know much about the F150 for track performance because ive never seen one out there.

Basically wondering:
RCSB 5.4 Vs RCSB hemi
ext. 5.4 Vs Crewcab hemi

Basic purpose of the truck: Haul an ATV and go fast, nothing more nothing less.

I think the fact that you would even consider a Dodge Ram means that you should get the Dodge Ram. Owning that truck would be your punishment for buying it...

I would never buy any Chrysler vehicle.

EDIT: I guess I could not be an *** and actually an answer your question. Hemis are faster. If that's what you want, go for it.

Unless you plan on driving your truck through that testing area while your ATV is in the back not secured down.....then I dont think you'll have a problem with that.

True, but lets say he hits a bad patch in the road at say 45-50 MPH....then he'd be in trouble.

Dodge is quicker, F150 is more reliable.

The F-150 is a truck -- it sounds more like you want a sports car with a big trunk.....

If that's the case, then the F-150 is not for you. It's built to haul stuff, not haul a$$.....

The hemi is faster. But the dodge build quality does leave alot to be desired. Nice to see others have a similiar dislike of the Toyota as I do. Whatever you end up with it will be better than that POS

It doesnt take much to wake up the 5.4 in the regular cabs. High 13's n/a is possible on a regular cab 5.4

That better be a big trunk. Hell, a crown vic can fit 4 dead hookers and it couldnt fit an ATV.

And yes a sports car is what i want, but the ATV is too much fun, so im gonna compromise for now.
