5-state jeep trip--photos

here are a few photos of the jeep during the utah portion of our recent trip from dallas thru new mexico, arizona, utah, colorado and back...

nothing crazy with the 4-wheeling, just some moderate trails and beautiful scenery in a stock jeep

bryce canyon, then on to moab:

Where in AZ did you go? If I'd have known you were coming this way, I'd have taken you on some pretty trails out here...

You can sure fold your soft top neater than I can. Mine always looks like an unmade bed when I fold it down!

Same here, I'm thinking about just taking it off. I have a YJ though, the TJ soft top is a lot better of a design.

I am heading out to Moab tomorrow for some sightseeing, I have a day off before I fly home.
How difficult is the chicken corners 4wd trail really, it says on the website it is difficult. I've been offroading all week up in the oil field roads of nine mile canyon with a Jeep Commander (my rental...hehe). Will this commander handle the chicken corners trail?
BTW, I did get the optional insurance just in case.

you'll do fine with the commander as long as you take it slow when necessary

chicken corners is just a moderate trail, and even then only a couple of places are moderate--the rest is just basically dirt roads

it will take a few hours to complete though, so be sure and pack water and essentials--at the end you'll be a good ways from anybody

have fun!
