1999-present is when volkswagen went crappy. try the mk1, mk2, and mk3 volkswagens. and also, if there was no volkswagen, there would be no mazda rx7 or rx8, or audi, lamborghini, bentley, or bugatti. everything gets worse the newer it is. just look at the new f150's.
